The hardest lessons in life are those that teach us:
--That others do not like the same things we like, and do not dislike the same things we dislike.
--That what we think is good for the world is not what others also think.
--That, no matter how intelligent we are, our instincts and reflexes make our minds narrow.
--That it takes all kinds of people to make a world.
--That our happiness is founded on our opinions.
--That we must tear down our enemies in order to achieve peace--but whose peace?
