makalumang sigarilyo. She was certain that it 
was from a kapre. This happened within the year. 
The kapre of ten years ago and the kapre in my 
dream may not be the same, but the kapre 
referenced by our former househelp and the kapre 
in my dream may be the same one.

"Could you help me interpret my dream and advice 
on what to do? I believe the kapre is trying to send 
a message. I also have other unusually vivid dreams

Hello ____!

Every tree is the residence of a kapre. These beings usually make 
themselves known to the members of the household only so that 
at least member will acknowledge their presence and assure them 
that they may stay where they are. The kapres then becomes good 
allies and help the members of the household prosper.

There are two common ways of extending friendship to a kapre:

--Offering one handful each of rice, corn, mung bean, and green 
peas round the base of its tree

--Offering libations of wine and cigars at the foot of each tree.

Do not light joss sticks in your yard. Kapres detest it.
