Back from jalan-jalan.

Was prepared to walk all the way to the center as I usually do when a taxi sidled up parallel to me and so I hopped in.

The driver was 63, I 65. He said that all of his children urged him to retire two years ago, which he did, then, according to him, he got very sick until he decided to go back to work again.

I think other men refuse to retire because:

1. They harbor a residual guilt that results in a reluctance to relax and enjoy life.
2. Retirement means, to them, being useless and unimportant.
3. They equate retirement with low self-esteem.
4. There is a need to continue having an income, which is a poor reflection on our retirement system.
