Watched The Danish Girl on HBO. Fabulous, art nouveaux sets and props. Alicia Vikander was the most credible performer in this movie. (Love her studio.) As a result, the audience tends to identify with her rather than with her husband. Eddie Redmayne's performance seemed repetitious and boring to me. Those fluttering eyelids and predictable, sudden smiles were as stagnant as his character development. He actually just managed to look like Karen Black.

At any rate I feel that Anne Heywood made a more stunning job of her role in the 1972 movie I Want What I Want.
